KASHMIR The Holy Land of Saints and Sages

Kashmir,
The only land of sages, saints and
the messengers of God on the Planet Earth

I know of only one Kashmir...!
The land of Yakshas,
That was overpowered with divine powers,
With all humility, His Excellency’s
Spiritual prowess and gained access to,
By its founder the holy Saint
Shri Shri 1008 Kashyap Rishi,
After a very long tapasya….!
Thereby Kashyap Rishi entered into a compromise
A Mutual agreement with the Yakshas
To allow his followers and descendants,
To establish in the holy land that was the land of Devtaas.
Thereby, coining the present name of the valley,
As the mir of Kashyap – Kashmir.
Thereafter, since ages the holy saints,
From all over the country have been visiting
The valley in the womb of Himalayas
For spiritual meditation in order to achieve
Nirvana – the final stage of ultimate happiness
And achieve eternal prosperity after death.

I know of only one Kashmir which is,
Supposed to be the holy abode of Shiva and Shakhti,
Any time for periodical relaxation…!
Lord Shiva has been kind enough to have bestowed
His holy Darshans to thousands of Hindus in Kashmir..!
In fact the folklores of the valley are full of examples
Those have instances of even the Muslim sages too having
Been fortunate to have the blessings and darshans of
Bholenath , being impressed with their Devotion and Bhakhti..!


I know of only one Kashmir, where
You find a small mountain called Hari Parbat..!
This particular mountain is supposed to be
The holy abode of all the 84,000 Devis and Devtaas..!
The only place on earth where by merely performing
Parikrama of this small mountain, you are supposed to
Have paid your prayers to all the deities..!

I know of only one Kashmir, where
We had the oldest Seat of learning of Hindu Culture,
The Sharda Vishva Vidhyalaya (University)
Where you will find the oldest and the original Seat
Of the holy Goddess of Learning Maa Sharda.!
This is the place where the oldest language of Hindu Culture
Was developed and taught called as Sharda lipi
Sharda lipi is the font in which the mother of all languages
The language of Sanskrit was taught...!
At present the oldest Temple and seat of Maa Sharda
Is in POK and of course in shambles
Without any caretaker excepting the Mother Nature …!

I know of only one Kashmir, where
You can have virtual Darshans of Maa Ragnya
At Kheer Bhawaani in Tulamula..!
Swami Vivekananda also had the privilege of
Having bestowed with the holy Darshans of Mata
At this holy abode of the Maa Bhawaani…!

I know of only one Kashmir, where
On the top of a small mountain is seated our
Holy Maa Jawalaaji …!
In the Shrine you will find natural Flame of Jawalaaji
Alive for all the 24 hours round the year.
There is a big size Pindi of Maa Jawalaaji
Standing aloof in the air above the ground …!
Once a Britisher wished to confirm whether
It was really standing in the air and
He dared to take out his sharp long sword
And passed it below the Pindi ….!
He was surprised to see the sword
Pass through easily without any obstruction …!
On his return back down the stairs of the mountain
He was found dead by the passers by..!

I know of only one Kashmir, where
There is a holy natural spring in Sheovpore …,
This is the place where Lord Shiva after taking bath
Could free himself from the sin of Brhamhatya
That was forced upon Him because he had cut the head
Of Lord Ganesha by mistake not knowing the background
On the advice of Rishi Narad did Lord Shiva go to the spring,
And observe the penance for Brhamhatya..!

I know of only one Kashmir, where
That is full of the thousands of such unique
and powerful Pilgrimages all around the beautiful valley..!
One has only to take pains to explore this ancient valley
To increase the knowledge of the History of Hindu culture..!
Where else on the planet will you find the holy evidences
Of the birth of the Mother of all religions… Hinduism!

Kashmir,
I bow respectfully ,
to your deep sense of Humility,
serene Solitude filled gracefully with divine Valleys,
aplomb character of lofty Karakorum ranges,
sublime and bountiful wealth of Natural Habitat ,
crowned upon with heavenly glaciers , lakes and rivers,
A perfect place for Learning , Worship and Meditation..!!!

The 45 Nation NSG Group has given its final nod to the special waiver,
The American Congress will witness another rocking scene before issuing its final approval to the special Motion in favor of India….!
The Amarnath Land Row is finally over after a peaceful 62 days agitation in Jammu , a protest witnessed for the first time in the country….,
Bihar is witnessing its worst floods in history, and relief being poured in though very late but of course not ignored, with Lalu at the helm,

The plight of the poor and under developed masses is for all to see,
With the prices never to recede, heat of the growth of Inflation is hurting,
Some are experiencing floods and others are busy helping them, Post-Monsoon is at its peak, spreading its wings in all parts of the country,
There is rainfall and thunder storm every where,
Followed by flow of cool breeze and also colling of temperatures.

The Govt. of India needs to arise awake and stop not till thy goal is reached…!
